Helping kids thrive!
Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. The Castleton-Schodack Kiwanis Club is dedicated to serving the local community through various service and fundraising projects. Our club has been servicing our community for more than 75 years. We are part of Kiwanis International, an organization serving children for over 100 years.
Our club focuses on community initiatives and children-centered projects, striving to uplift local children by fostering growth and empowerment for a brighter future.
Here is a sample of our projects:
- Provide supplies needed for the back-pack program at Schodack Central School.
- Provide Gift Cards for Holiday program at Schodack Central School
- Road Side cleanup in May and November along Rt 150
We are passionate about raising funds and donations to aid local children and families, while also offering support for higher education through various annual scholarships.
Our club gathers regularly, fostering a tight-knit community while making a positive impact through our shared dedication to service and building lasting friendships.
In addition to our regular dinner meetings, we have a club picnic during the summer and have a Holiday party at our last meeting of the year.
